For our development site in Bucharest we are looking for a

 

Test Engineer

Responsibilities
  • Analyze functional and non-functional requirements
  • Design and realization of Test Concepts
  • Creation and optimization of Test Cases
  • Analysis of test results reported defects
  • Support of development teams during troubleshooting
  • Continuous development of test systems and test automation
  • Definition and assurance of product quality and product performance characteristics
  • Collaboration with internal and external development and test teams
  • Carry out field tests local and global
  • Active cooperation in the optimization of internal processes
  • Cross-site collaboration with other System Test teams
  • Compliance with security, environmental and energy management guidelines as well as the implementation of corporate policies and derived objectives in the area of responsibility.
Requirements
  • Very good understanding of system test methods and relevant processes (V-Modell, A-SPICE)
  • At least 2 years of experience in embedded system within Automotive business is a plus
  • Good knowledge of at least one of the following areas and Basic knowledge of at least another area:
  1. Common interfaces in the vehicle (CAN, Ethernet, LIN etc.
  2. Cellular (3G, 4G, 5G etc.) and Wireless Network (WLAN, Bluetooth etc.) communication in combination with vehicle integration
  3. Vehicle Power Management
  4. Vehicle Diagnosis and Flashing
  5. Automation/ Simulation of embedded Systems within Automotive business
  • Security of embedded Systems within Automotive Business
  • Knowledge of tool set to test complex functionality, i.e. CAPL, Vector Tools is a plus
  • An ISTQB certification would be an asset
  • Driving license class B is compulsory
  • Very good knowledge of English spoken and written (Minimum B2 Level), German is a plus
  • Willingness to travel national and international
  • Independent work approach as well as an analytical and structured approach
  • Urge to understand complex systems and find their weaknesses
  • High degree of organizational capacity
  • Clear and open communication internal, with supplier and with customer
Education & Experience Request
  • Completed studies (E.g. electronic engineering) as well as comparable training / experience
  • At least three years of professional experience in the field of system testing of products with embedded products for the automotive industry
