Job Summary

Based in Chesterfield, MO; this position will be responsible for establishing and leading cross functional strategic initiatives. Candidate must be well organized, extremely responsible, and capable of working with and communicating with a wide variety of people. This position leads a variety of diverse projects including but not limited to the launch of new products and services, large-scale application development, Merger & Acquisition integrations, office moves, global infrastructure upgrades and continual process improvement activities.

  • Directs large-scale, complex projects often involving multiple internal and external constituents and matrix partners
  • Directly manages all aspects of the project lifecycle and works with matrix partners to oversee all SDLC phases of a project using both waterfall and agile project management methodologies
  • Rigorously manages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed time, cost, and quality parameters
  • Validates financial forecasts and provides on-going reconciliation of resources and other related project expenditures
  • Develops and maintains the project charter, integrated project, resource, contingency, communications and risk management plans and related project management artifacts
  • Briefs key stakeholders, including senior management, on various aspects of assigned initiatives
  • Represents the project in various project governance and inter-department forums
  • Chairs meetings to review progress with key constituents
  • Defines and tracks project milestones while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan
  • Publishes periodic project status reports
  • Manages project change management processes
  • Acts as mentor and coach to junior project managers
  • Proven ability to communicate at all levels with clarity and precision both written and verbally

  • Exemplary core project management skills including but not limited to: Scope Definition, Requirements gathering, Decomposition of scope into work packages, Defining and maintaining project schedules, Resource management, Financial management, Risk identification and creation of risk mitigation plans, Issue resolution, Stakeholder and Communications management
  • Prior IT project management experience in a global multi-divisional company is required
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changing requirements and schedules
Education & Experience Requested
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Business or related fields. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
  • PMI PMP certification highly preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing processes is preferred
  • Experience working with a global IT infrastructure is required
  • Experience working with ServiceNow Project Portfolio Suite preferred
  • A minimum of 5–10 years’ experience directly related to the responsibilities specified
