Job Summary

Located in Schaumburg, IL, or Akron, OH, and under general direction, the Senior Graphic Designer develops timely, consistent, and quality market and product focused sales collateral materials to elevate brand image and value.

Responsibilities
  • Create digital sales and marketing assets such as website media, email campaigns, landing pages, social media, infographics, eBooks, videos, blog posts, presentations and more (plus traditional printed catalogs, collateral and trade show assets as needed)
  • Offer creative solutions to elevate the company’s brand and foster differentiation and growth
  • Organize and manage multiple projects, acting as team lead
  • Work both independently and collaboratively as part of a broader Marketing team
  • Present concepts and designs for collaboration with internal business partners within deadlines
  • Make necessary edits and changes until ready for publishing/production
  • Identify design concerns or issues prior to final delivery
  • Maintain awareness of current trends and practices in the graphic design field; evaluate and recommend improvements in software, equipment or practice
  • Maintain consistent brand representation across all media and touchpoints
  • Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
  • Review designs for errors before processing
  • Gather relevant information on market trends to understand both internal business strategies and the external competitive landscape; to help drive design
Requirements
  • Advanced expertise in graphic design as it applies to web / digital media and traditional print
  • Proven ability to create new designs that solve communication and brand objectives
  • Solid project management skills with the ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects in a cross-functional environment (to include project planning, scoping, sizing and ongoing project cost tracking and reporting, with a high attention to detail)
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse group of people in a team environment
  • Ability to review project quality with adherence to brand requirements and business objectives
  • Creative judgment and understanding of layout, illustration and photography requirements
  • Advanced skill in professional graphic design software
  • Marketing automation, video editing, web content management software and html knowledge a plus
  • Experience in creating custom imagery/illustrations
  • Experience working for a technology company a plus
Education & Experience Request
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related degree preferred, 7-10 years digital and print graphic design experience
  • Ongoing aspiration to learn modern, cutting-edge design skills preferred
